Operation TBI Freedom Services and Resources
Care Coordination links service members to resources and services they are entitled to as active military personnel and as veterans. Resources include but are not limited to:
- Crisis Counseling
- Social Security
- Housing Assistance
- LEAP (Emergency Assistance)
- Food Stamps
- Community Veterans Program
- VA Benefits
- Financial Planning
- Recreational Therapy
- Other services as needed
Care Coordination helps promote crisis stabilization, self-advocacy, education and community re-integration. Care Coordination services are free of charge and provided by Certified Brain Injury Specialists with military and Case Management experience.
To qualify for Operation TBI Freedom, an individual must be active duty military or a veteran who:
- Served in the Global War on Terror (GWOT) sometime between 2001 - present
- Sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (does not need to be combat related)
- Is stationed or lives within the State of Colorado
